1. Do you charge for a repair estimate?
All estimates are FREE and will take approximately 20 minutes to complete. Make an appointment or stop in during our available hours!

2. Should I have multiple people give me an estimate?
Multiple estimates are not necessary. Bring your vehicle to your choice of body shop and receive one estimate. Our team can write an estimate write and submit it to your insurance company, or we can use the estimate your insurance company has given you.

3. Is it my responsibility to choose where my car is repaired?
It is your right and responsibility to choose the body shop that will fix your vehicle to its pre-accident condition. Make sure you choose a body shop that offers a lifetime warranty on their repairs and paint jobs.

4. What happens to my new car warranty if I don't go to the dealer for the repairs?
The warranty on your new car will still be valid. To top it off, in addition to your manufacturer warranty, the areas that our team repairs will be covered by our Limited Lifetime Warranty.

5. Is there a warranty offered at Webb Toyota?
A Limited Lifetime Warranty is offered to you for any repairs or defects in the work that was completed and listed on the repair invoice. This is valid for as long as you own that vehicle at no charge to you.

6. If needed, can you tow my vehicle?
Our team will be happy to tow your vehicle during normal business hours, Monday through Friday 8:00am to 5:30pm. Just give us a call at 505-325-1911. If you need to be towed as the result of an accident, it will usually be covered as part of a loss. We will include this expense in the estimate that is submitted to the insurance company.

7. Will I be able to receive a rental vehicle while waiting for repairs?
We will be able to coordinate a rental car around the dates your vehicle is being repaired. The rental car company can pick you up at Webb Toyota and bring you to their office to get you off and running in your rental vehicle.

8. Do you provide courtesy rides to work or home after I drop my vehicle off?
We will happily provide courtesy rides! As you schedule your repairs, just inform us that you will need a ride.

9. What is the approximate time it will take for my vehicle to be fixed?
Depending on the extent of the damages, we will give you an estimate time based on the initial appraisal of the damage. This time may change after the vehicle is disassembled due to the discovery of additional supplemental damage and other approvals from your insurance company. Our team will make sure to keep you up to date during the process.

10. Why do all the estimates I have received differ in price?
A low estimate may not include all the details like frame damage. There is a chance one body shop has written to repair a part and another shop has written to replace the part. There are three primary estimating systems used by auto body repair facilities. Each system breaks down labor operations differently and frequently uses different material allowances for similar operations. The type of parts used in the repairs will have a significant impact on the repairs. Is the estimate written to use Original Equipment Manufacture's parts, aftermarket parts, used or re-manufactured parts? Webb Toyota utilizes Toyota OEM body parts to reassure the quality of your vehicle. We would be happy to assess multiple estimates if you have them!

11. Can my vehicle be repaired if the frame is damaged?
If the frame is damaged it can be repaired with the certified equipment and technicians. If frame damage is indicated, we will mount your vehicle to a universal frame rack and utilize a high class computerized measuring system to provide graphic and numeric data showing the extent of the damage.

12. Do you have the ability to match the paint on my car?
The Webb Toyota Body Shop uses a computerized paint mixing system by DuPont a leader in refinishing products. Our painters use the paint code from your vehicle to blend the color that matches. We will then put your vehicle in a downdraft booth to be spray painted.

13. Is there a car paint warranty offered?
DuPont provides a limited Lifetime Nationwide Warranty.

14. How do you determine if a car is a total loss?
Each insurance company has different guideline when deciding if a vehicle has been totaled. Because of this, we don't determine if it was a total loss, insurance will. For a majority of the companies, it will be totaled if the repair costs equal or exceed 75% - 80% of the vehicles actual cash value.

15. When do you prefer that the deductible is paid?
Your deductible amount, which is determined by the insurance company, is paid when you pick up your vehicle. We will accept cash, check, debit card, Master Card, Visa and Discover for payments.

16. After the repairs and paint job are complete, how long do I wait to wash and wax it?
For the first 30 days make sure to wash your vehicle by hand, in the shade (avoid parking under trees), with only clear water and don't "dry wipe" your vehicle to finish as it could scratch the finish. Avoid commercial car washes as the stiff brushes and sponges can damage the fresh paint. Do not spill any liquids besides water on the new paint job.
After 30 Days: Wash your vehicle using a mild car wash solution or mild dish washing detergent and soft cloth.
After 90 Days: We recommend waxing your vehicle. Keep a coat of wax on your vehicle to protect the finish.
