Overview

A big and powerful 5.7-liter V8 engine gives the 2021 Toyota Sequoia up to 381 horsepower and 401 pound-feet of torque. A shiftable six-speed automatic sends the power to the rear drive wheels and helps the big SUV tow up to 7,400 pounds. The Sequoia holds nearly 19 cubic feet of cargo that expands to more than 120 cubic feet with the seats folded flat.

Technology

The Sequoia comes equipped with the Toyota Safety Sense. It includes dynamic radar cruise control, automatic braking and headlights, and lane-departure warning.

Interior & Exterior

A pair of bucket seats in front, another pair of bucket seats or a split bench in the second row and a removable third row enable the Sequoia to seat up to either seven or eight passengers. Four doors enable easy entries and exits while the automatic power rear liftgate opens without using your hands so that you can carry and load groceries and other cargo more easily.

Awards & Accolades

The Sequoia continually earns high praise for its roomy cabin, powerful engine and exceptional reliability. Kelley Blue Book rates the Sequoia a nearly perfect 4.8 out of 5 rating for value, reliability, quality, performance, styling and comfort. It also ranks among the best SUVs for holding its resale value, which helps to deliver a much better return on investment for its owners.
